K-Nine Designs at Doggie Styles

My name is Michaela, I got my start working with dogs as a child helping my family show dogs.  At a very young age I was bathing and maintaining Top Winning Rottweilers and Boxers.  When I turned 16 I got my first paying job working at a boarding and training kennel, and even then my favorite part of the job was giving a good bath and brush to dogs before they went home.  At age 18 I began working as a veterinary Assistant and I did that for about 4 years before realizing the medical field did not make me happy.  It was then that I began pursuing my true passion full time.  I went to work at a local grooming salon as a bather and eventually earned the privileged of being trained to become a groomer!  I have been grooming dogs full time since 2005!  I have mentored under a Master Groomer for 5 years, and I continue to attend grooming workshops and seminars because I am a firm believer in continued education. I currently groom at Doggie Styles in Elizabeth City, NC... and limitedly out of my home in Currituck, NC.  In my spare time I raise and show AKC Chinese Crested Dogs.  Check them out here!
